I stayed at the Cayo Grande Hotel over the summer and I loved it!! It is a nice upscale hotel with lots of things to do on property all the time. Our room was very clean and anytime we needed something the front desk was quick to help us out. I stayed in the Executive Deluxe Suite which has a jacuzzi in the room (it's nice since you don't have to share with everyone at the hotel)...you also get free breakfast and not just coffee and donuts, eggs, bacon, juice...I will aways stay there when I come to the area!
Pros: Inexpensive, friendly staff, free parking

I had to stay at the Cayo Grande Suites Hotel for a few days once and it was a very pleasant experience. It is located on a very convenient location on Racetrack rd. in the heart of Fort Walton Beach. The staff was very friendly, and kind. My room has VERY nice, and I hated to leave.
PROS: Great Room Hotel and Staff
CONS: Pricey
