I'm a Florida transplant and still getting used to the sun, sand, and water. I am heavily involved in the arts (especially music) and my ideal night out is either at a concert or play. I have two great kids who are (nearly) grown and moving on with their lives now. I am very interested in computer technology, it is one of the few things that keep me interested through and through. In order to finish up my engineering degree, i kinda have to be that way about computers. I'd describe myself as more of a closet nerd. Obviously sports is my overall persona on life skills. I scare people ,I'm cynical and sadistic yet charmlingly romantic and loving at others I laugh, I hate ,I love I cry ok so I seldom do that last one because on the whole I have a pretty damn good life...intimidating bouncers at bars when wearing tapout shirts because they think I'm going to (FLIP OUT MAN! so sue me i like that movie)during a punk show or random beerfest moment.. I work alot love and miss my daughter who lives at the other end of the state..So i blow off steam by piercing my self in strange and increasingly painful places I consider myself a billboard for life with out tat's suck. I bounce in nightclubs and cook in a cheezy beachside restaurant, yet it pays the bills and them some so I really don't complain.

alright... graduated from warren central in 06... did construction for a while... work got slow so i sat around a big ol apt with some buddies from hs partying all the time then it got old and i realized i needed to do somethin with my life... so i joined the air force and signed up for what i thouught the coolest thing would be that they had to offer... its kinda like what the seals or the rangers do exept i get to talk to the air planes as well as shoot the bad guys

What to say here. A lot to say, and so little space to say it in. I am in my mid-30s and from a military family. I have been to many places in the USA and even some places around the world. I would like to personally describe myself as a hard worker but can have fun. I have done the club scene early on in my 20s, but still enjoy going to a local watering hole for a drink. Love my music and have a varied taste from classical to hard rock to R&B to some nice smooth jazz. Family is important to me and if you are my friend, you are a friend for life. Also enjoy sports...mainly soccer and golf. Have gotten to play a little basketball, but definitely not good with that. I try to keep in shape so I do work out. I like to think that I'm fairly easy going, I try not to let the little things get to me. I'd rather make the best of a situation instead of getting upset or bothered by...whatever it is. Humor is greatly important to me, in my opinion most situations can easily be flipped around with some humor and openness.

Technology is a big interest of mine, gadgets especially. I'm always reading Wire magazine or Gizmodo and Engadget. My brother got me into computer games as a kid and I haven't let go of that hobby either.

It's rare that I go one week without seeing at least one movie, I'm a huge movie buff. I tend to prefer thoughtful movies with great plots but I also love movies of the Superbad, Anchorman and 40 Year Old Virgin variety.

I like someone that is passionate about...something, anything. To me that means being able to talk about your passion with someone else with a degree of excitement and in a way that it makes the other person excited to hear you talk about it, whatever "it" happens to be.

Recently I got a new camera (Canon Rebel XSi), and have been using it every chance I get. It's nice to have a solid camera again and be able to photograph all the interesting things I see.

While I am not a health and fitness nut by any means, I do like to stay in shape. Not only is it required by my job (three times a week) ;) but it's also a great feeling to -feel- fit. As much as it sucks and hurts, being able to run 2 miles at a nice steady pace without stopping is a great feeling.

Also I am a little upset that OkCupid gave me the "Less Romantic" personality award, I happen to think I'm quite the romantic.

I know you don't feel like reading paragraph upon paragraph of boring, useless information about me. First of all, I will say that I have made a lot of stupid decisions in my life. Fortunately, one of those stupid decisions blessed me with a beautiful and healthy one-year-old daughter. If you don't like the idea of dating a woman with a kid, then I guess it's time for you to move on. Also, I am currently married but separated and will be in the process of getting a divorce. I honestly wouldn't even mention it in my profile if I wasn't worried about getting attached to a great guy and then hitting him with a bomb and scaring him away. I don't plan on jumping into a serious relationship with anyone while I'm still married. However, I also don't plan on sitting around at the house by myself every night.
